The light at the end of the tunnel
Travelling, walking, strolling I am
On a journey along a dimly lit path
I seem to have lost my way
There seems to be no way out
A harsh long stare across
A light at the end of the tunnel
I have seem to found my way
Out of this dark cold tunnel
The light at the end of the tunnel
How warm it feels upon my skin
Yet, so much I shiver from its touch
Why is this so?
Journeying for decades
Looking for something I never knew
Searching for an answer, to what I wish to know
Getting lost within myself
Stuck within a cave
Lightless, lifeless
Surrounded by nothing
All that's left is a path
Along the path I sprint
Hoping to find my answers
At the end of my long dark journey
I see a bright light calling for me

woohoo... slc has ended.. so many ended up in tears las nite.. esp the OT (organising team).. but who could blame them... they worked for 7mths.. had many sleepless nites.. just to make the event a success... cheers to the OT!!!! they rox!!!! hahas... i just wish there was more we could do to show them our appreciation.. cus.. altho they kip saying that there are screw ups.. I DUN SEE THE SCREW UPS!!!! that is how gd the ot is...!!!!!!!! 3 cheers and 3 cheers and 3 cheers for OT!!!!!

its realli realli veri borin.. cant schools jus come up with newer and better ways to assess us on how much we have learnt and understood in class other than by goin thru the test??? i mean thru the test all u noe is whether the student is able to pen down what he learnt in class. He may be able to write down the model answer.. bt wad if it was memorised?? there has to be a better way to assess a students progress... like holding events.. or hands on pracs.. or stuff as such. i mean... you learn better when u are doin it wad... why do they sae learn from mistakes... cus u hve to do smth in order to learn wad.. if u are cooped up in ur stuffy classroom listening to lessons or doing a test.. what is there to learn? what is there to understand? it is a super protected environment... it aint gonna prepare us for the real ting ya noe... haish...

well im here again to rant and rant and rant on about my hates and dislikes.. today the topic shall be canoeing...
ok its not that i hate or dislike canoeing.. bt to an extent i find it boring to the spectators as well as competitors... thats y i seldom go down for training... hahahs... ok thats besides the point.. my point is...
1) why do u tink so many ppl go and see soccer matches???
2)why is there so big a crowd at the NBA stadiums????
because the matches are fast, the skills are fascinating... decisions on court/field can be seen to be made asap... thats what makes it exciting.. the "unclearness" of who the fair winner is.. therefore... the crowd is often kept in suspense until the final second when someone makes a shot and poof its in!!! thats wad makes the crowd cry and shout and go hooray at the end of the day.. but for canoeing.. maximum 7mins spent on water in each race.. u paddle ur heart and lungs and intestines out.. but wad happens? u jus cross the finishing line first...= .= thats all.. the skill isnt realli impt if ur pure brute strength is there to knock your opponents out... pure skill isnt gonna get u too far man... unless ur lvl of skill is close to that of da pros... and even such.. the skill of the strokes .. i mean as a spectator.. uve seen em once.. uve seen em all.. get wad i mean??? its like.. alrite all enter water infront.. pull back wif arms and body... then exits using the shoulders... and the point of it being exciting is??? seeing ppl capsize??? i tink not... precisely due to this.. thats why i find it a bore..
therefore to try and regenerate my interest in canoeing.. i shall look into all the different bt very similar styles of paddling that each coach teaches his students.. and try to come up wif something that is purely my own.. and i shall name it da "Slack Stroke" hahahas... but yar.. gotta get the interest back.. frens sae i gt potential.. coach not gettin angry at my pontangs.. chers being veri patient wif me... i mus at least try to do my best rite??? hahas. hope so bah... then prob next yr can take part.. and try to at least enjoy canoeing for once... b4 i leave it for gd... hahas...
